If the Android system adds the location coordinates to the image metadata, it will still be available on the images on the server. But for more reliable location data, I would suggest you add a geopoint question and collect the location in a separate question: https://docs.getodk.org/form-question-types/#geopoint-widget

There is also the option to turn on the audit log and location tracking. But this will be more challenging to analyze: https://docs.getodk.org/form-audit-log/#location-tracking
