Summary: Using the selfie appearance in the latest version of ODK Collect crashes the app in multiple devices.

Using the Selfie appearance (Image type question) crashes ODK Collect.
This happens when pressing the touchscreen to take the photo/selfie. The device lags for a few seconds and then it crashes.
This happened while testing a form with a few devices of different companies (Samsung, Huawei, etc.). I double checked that all had a front camera. About 6 of 15 devices had this problem.
What ODK tool and version are you using? And on what device and operating system version?
Latest version available in Play Store.
I'll gather more information about the specifics of those devices/Android versions and update; considering this may take a while, I decided to make the post in advance, as someone may face the same problem (or not).
What you have you tried to fix the problem?
In at least 2 devices, opening ODK Collect after the crash would fix the problem. This wasn't the case for the other 4.
