Sending data in one phone

Hello
I have managed to create a wifi connection among phones i am using in a
survey. My aim is to have a centralised phone that works like an
administration point where i can send all data from all phones using this
one device.
Can someone assist me with the followingg;
Is it possible to send data in this way?

it's possible, but it's a fair bit of work. to do this, you'd have to

  1. make sure all android devices (or versions of android) can see
    other devices in adhoc mode. last i checked, adhoc mode in android
    isn't great.
  2. find a way to statically assign ip address to the devices or ensure
    device addresses don't change much or do some auto discovery.
  3. write some background service on the admin phone that implements
    the javarosa spec.

Group Complete (a collaborative data collection system based on ODK)
will allow you to distribute & aggregate data from multiple phones to
any number of other phones in real-time or nearly real-time. This might
be what you're looking for.
