Share my ODK Collect link with others via SMS

My organisation is using ODK in a research and I have a question, There are other people in different places more than a thousand, I want to send them an sms using the EMEI or just phone number with a link to download the same ODK Collect configured as mine as they might not know how to configure it.

Thanks

Hi there,

You can't install Android apps over the web unless the target device
is explicitly configured to do so.

has more on this.

You can send a link to whatever Android (stock ODK Collect or a custom
build) on the Play store. In the case of a custom build, yes, you can
put whatever default settings you'd like. That's probably the easiest
option.

You can also do bulk configuration if you have access to each device.
In Admin Settings, tap the menu button, tap Save Settings to Disk.
This will save your general and admin settings to
/sdcard/odk/settings/collect.settings. Copy this settings file to
/sdcard/odk/collect.settings of any other device running ODK Collect
and re-launch ODK Collect, it will automatically load those settings,
and delete that file.

Hope that helps,

Yaw

Hi everyone! I want to share my survey via link (without downloading the ODK application to the devices) Is this possible? Will the responses be stored in ODK Aggregate? and Can I use this option to publish it and share it via link?

No, that button is for publishing submissions.

so...all surveys that I want to collect through ODK, should carry out using the application?

Yes, you can check out Enketo if you are more interested in web forms https://enketo.org/
