I am having an issue with a few submissions start and end times. the
surveys were submitted as soon as they were done but dates are adding a day
to the end time. Any reason this would happen, please see below:

the time zone setting for your data-collection device (including whether
it is set for "daylight savings");
the time zone setting for your server (including whether it is set for
"daylight savings");
the time zone setting for the computer on which you are exporting data
with Briefcase (if any, including whether it is set for "daylight savings");
your version of ODK Collect; and
your version of ODK Aggregate.
The behavior of dates and times will depend on these things because the
dates and times are automatically adjusted for different time zones. In
SurveyCTO, we recently changed some of this behavior -- but I don't believe
there have been recent changes in ODK Collect or ODK Aggregate.

Bashir, could the surveys be started on one day, saved, then edited and
finalized the next day? If so, the end time would be the next day, as that
would be when the submission was finalized.

Okay, I'm not sure how that could happen under those circumstances. There
are some issues with times and dates when the time zones change
(particularly when daylight savings is involved), but I don't know of
anything that would cause this. Hopefully somebody else has an idea.
