I have been getting strange activity on my Google App Engine summary. It
spike up every hour. Check out the screenshot below.
The background instance is started every 45 minutes to nudge background
publishing along if an earlier submission has not been sent, which can
occur when a burst of submissions are processed all-at-once; some of them
may not be picked up and published until another new submission is made
some time later or until the background instance is nudged. This nudge is
also used to resume publishing that may be stalled due to, e.g., Fusion
Tables quotas or downstream server failures.
You can change this by editing the ODKAggregate/default/WEB-INF/cron.xml
file produced by the installer.
This would show as a hit on /gae/watchdog in the Logging screen (which is
where you can go to find out what URL is being accessed).
