Technology Stack used in ODK 2.0

Mitch and team,
I intend to leverage ODK 2.0 but would like to ensure that I am familiar with the technologies. Could you please enumerate technologies that I need to be familiar with. I intend to add features like finer grained authorization to begin with.
For example I know you are using BOOTSTRAP/JQuery, JavaRosa, Spring, GWT, etc. Could you please enumerate the rest or better yet if there is an architectural schematic.

Mitch,

This is great information.

It would be great to have similar page for ODK 1.x too. I suspect 2.0
adoption will have to wait for people like us because (a) 2.0 is still
beta, and (b) the user community in India lags in adoption of new Androids
