The simplest way to start designing a survey

Hello there,
First of all congratulations for ODK

I am new in designing forms so I need your help, I went through the ODK
website and read the information but still it is not clear to me, thanks
in advance.

I really appreciate if you answer each point below, basically what I need
is:

1.- Design a form for a survey with different kinds of variables (text,
numerical, yes/no, checkbox etc) how do I start?

2.- How do I enter the information in that form during the interview?

3.- Can I do it over the internet anywhere? if so how do I do that?

4.- Can people access my form an answer the survey from home using the
internet? if so, how do they do that?

5.- What do I do so nobody will change the content (questions, variables)
of the form over the internet?

6.- Is there a way that I provide a password to each person so they can
only answer the survey online and have access for a limited time and
without seen other peoples surveys? if so how do I do that?

7.- If several persons answer the form over the internet I guess the info
will be storage on a specific site, how can I access this site to retrieve
the infomation in Excel format?

8.- besides posting the form in the internet so people has access and
answer the survey, can I insert the form on an Instituion's website? if so,
how do I do this_

for the moment these are my questions and I will appreciate your time and
answers

Thanks
EH.

Hi EH,

Watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqqUdfz9Uyc for an overview,
then try to build your campaign by following the training guides at
https://opendatakit.org/help/training-guides. The Google Earth
Outreach tutorial is one of my favorites.

If you need more professional help, see

You can also try some of the commercial alternatives. Some of the
popular ones are:

Hope that helps,
