Too many fields defined rror

Hey all,

I downloaded results from the server using publish and was trying to join 2
sheets in the same workbook using Microsoft query function in order to get
the multiple choice questions to open up. When I get to the point where I
need to choose what columns to include in the query, i get this error "Too
many fields defined" and hence I can't continue with the query to join the
2 sheets.

Now I am assuming the problem is with the excel sheet itself . Is it that
the columns are more than 255 columns . However I have tried to reduce the
columns to less than 255 but the problem still persists. What could be the
issue because even when I use Access the error s still there. Find attached
the error.

ERROR.docx (194 KB)

This is best asked on a group that supports whatever tool you are using
(Microsoft Query).

But if you are trying to update the record, you are limited to 127
