Transfer collect settings to another device or project

HEllo,
I have a question about the post: https://docs.getodk.org/collect-import-export/

Maybe I do not understand it correct, but what I want is, to set the project config and tranfer it to other projects at the same device and to projects at another device.
So I configurated and creat a QR Code. If I san this or load it at the same device while I opened a new project, all configuration settings will imported in the new project. But also the server adres and name of the project will changed.
It is possible to transfer only the settings without the "Server" config? Or it is only possible to transfer the complete settings from one project to a other device to duplicate the project not to other projects?

When adjusting the settings in Collect it is linked to a particular project. It is not possible to adjust settings that apply to all projects and you cannot use a QR code to configure Collect settings for any project, only the project it is for. If you are using a Python script for building settings QR codes, you could easily copy & paste your preferred general settings each time you reconfigure the script.
