Trimble Juno 5 or Juno T41

Just checking to see if any has used either device with ODK. I have heard
mixed messages coming from both sides. Some comments involve the use of the
android on the trimble juno is not compatible with ODK. Please someone help
if they have used these devices?

Thanks

Thank Chris, but its hard to test these products where I'm located and the
price to buy these is over 1500 USD/CAD so it makes it a little difficult.
As I live in a remote town.

Danny,

Your best bet is to buy one and try it. Or stand in a shop and try it there
on the showroom floor if you don't want to buy it. (I've myself stood in an
Indian phone shop and tried device after device to see which supported the
fonts I needed, by downloading and trying a test survey I'd designed for
the purpose.) Regardless of what anybody tells you about their experiences,
it's always wise to test a device against the specific kind of survey you
plan to deploy on it, to make sure that it meets your needs. Short of that,
you're taking quite a huge risk.

Bottom line: I wouldn't advise committing to a device until you've tested
it yourself.

Best,

Chris

Danny,

I'd have the place you are buying from try it and make sure it works. These
sorts of devices often have very custom Android builds and for $1.5k a
piece I'm sure they could do you that favor...
