I am happy that a system like ODK is open source and available for us in
Yemen. for the first time we are doing a survey of 800 respondents. We are
not sure of what space is given to us for free before purchasing an space ?
what is the limits of respondents and data field ? is it save to use ODK
Collect and aggregate directly in the field...
This is really helpful. Can you also advice on how much free capacity
provided by Google App ..
Best

Hi Mohammed. How much storage space is dependent on the variables you're
going to collect. Eight hundred respondents is not much and shouldn't
exceed the free capacity provided by GAE , but only if you don't plan to
collect any multimedia data.
Data collected from the field stays in your device until you synchronize
with your server, or the destkop via Briefcase.
If you can share the number and type of questions you plan to use, you'll
get a more definite estimate about how much space you really require.
Cheers,
