Thanks everyone for the great feedback so far. ODK Collect v1.25.0 beta.1 has just been published to demonstrate the functionality. Learn how to join the beta program in this post. Please note that it will not work with forms and instances already on the device. You'll need to download or push a form definition for the geo point question to be recognized.
