Whenever open/ instantiate a new form, auto run check for errors to go to the question quickly

What high-level problem are you trying to solve?
To make filling up form quicker and reduce repeating clicks when many forms to be filled after one another

Any ideas on how ODK could help you solve it?
Suggest 'check for error' auto-ran once during open a new form.

Idea is fine.
But can be solved by the user just clicking on the check error menu item in the standard top menu (3 dots). So only one or two more clicks.
The proposed check should not fire for a new empty form.

@LN, would be helpful to add the check errors menu item also in the navigation view.
