Xform binding problem (works on some phones, not all)

I have loaded an Xform onto several phones running Collect 1.1.5, and it
works perfectly on all of them. On one single phone, though, the bindings
(e.g. relevant="") don't work. When I change the tag, however, it
again works. I wanted it to have the same title name as the other phones,
though, and could simply not get the bindings to function with the same form
name. Reinstalling ODK did not work, nor did deleting and replacing the
form. After deleting entire ODK directory on the SD, the original form now
works just as expected.

I am just wondering if this will continue to happen with other phones. Is
this a known issue that I can somehow avoid in the future? Thanks for you
help!

hi louis,

we preprocess and cache the form definition to make form loading
faster. in 1.1.5, the code (my code, really) has a bug or two (only
one or two, i swear!) that results in the occasional glitch.
generally, if you are having problems with forms not updating, quit
collect, remove the hidden /sdcard/odk/.cache directory and re-add the
form, it should work. 1.1.7 has new code that should solve these
problems.
