XLSX Converter: TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined

Hi all,
I am a first time ODK Survey user.
I have installed ODK Application Designer 2.0 Alpha-1.
After launching ODK Application Designer , I used XLSX Converter to
generate a formDef.json file from my XLSX file.
I received following error:
TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined
What this error message is about/ is the reason & solution for it?

Thanks
Pradnya

We will need your XLSX file to debug this. There are no errors that we
generate with this error.

Hi Mitch,
Thanks for the reply.
I was able to get rid of that error.
I am trying to convert an excel file that uses "XLSForm" format to ODK
Survey compatible format. In the process I received that error.

Now I am getting different error:
Error: Unrecognized prompt type. Prompt: 'begin group' at row 20 on sheet:
survey

Basically there is "begin group" and "end group" and this is not valid in
ODK Survey.
I am struggling to find equivalent concept in ODK Survey
I have attached the excel file

Any help is appreciated
Thanks again

Thank you for trying this out. ODK Survey does not have the concept of
groups. It has two related concepts:

(1) screens -- begin screen ... end screen -- these are equivalent to a
group with a field-list appearance. The 'begin screen' and 'end screen' go
in the 'clause' column, not in the 'type' column.

Screens control the layout of a set of questions on a page. Different
screen types can alter the layout mechanisms, including a custom layout
that uses an arbitrary HTML template for field placements.

(2) sections -- these are additional tabs containing subsets of survey
questions (using the same column headings / format as the 'survey' sheet).

Sections are very simple groupings of related questions. You transition
into section 'mysection' via 'do section mysection', which starts at the
top of that sheet. Sections can be exited via 'exit section'. These
statements are placed in the 'clause' column.

The column headings need to be lower case.

Change:

Condition on the survey sheet.
Value on the settings sheet.
