"you have an error in your sql syntax"

1. What is the problem? Be very detailed.
Upon wanting to create db and user sql file its promoting that i have an error in my sql syntax
2. What app or server are you using and on what device and operating system? Include version numbers.
I am using my sql 8 on windows 8 on hp

The 1064 error displays any time you have an issue with your SQL syntax, and is often due to using reserved words!

Could you share more details? Where do you get that error?

I installed Apache tomcat 8.0, my sql 8.0 and odk aggregate 2.1. Upon opening cmd to configure the create_db_and_user.sql it's sending the forementioned error. Saying you have an error in your sql syntax.
