Hello everyone, my name is Rukayat Abeo Akinwande, and I’m excited to join this forum. I’m a computer science graduate with hands-on experience in teaching and data analytics.
My journey into data collection sparked my interest in tools like ODK, which I’m eager to explore further. I'm passionate about leveraging technology for social good, especially in the health and education sectors.
I look forward to learning from this community, contributing where I can, and deepening my understanding of how ODK can drive impactful data collection.
I am Blessing, a Click-On Kaduna Data Science Fellowship Program fellow in Nigeria. I am learning ODK to enhance public health data collection and analysis. In my free time, I like to video call my loved ones, cook or bake new recipes, and attend workshops. I am excited to be here and hope to learn a lot from you and contribute to the community.

This is Edmond. I am not new to ODK. Actually, I started to work with ODK intensively about 12 years ago. As longitudinal monitoring was not supported yet at that time, I had to work with other mobile data collection software for some years. But ODK has always been my favorite tool with regards to building smart forms and the robustness of the software. I can say this after having benchmarked several mobile software 'solutions'. Now that longitudinal monitoring is possible ODK comes into the picture again.
Based in the Netherlands and working on (international) sustainable landuse projects. Longitudinal monitoring is crucial for us as well as the mapping and visualisation of geometries in the ODK app and of course its robustness. All this is crucial for field technicians so they know where the sites are and can rely on the software when they are in the (remote!) field. I hope to see a lot of progress on these features.
