This is Edmond. I am not new to ODK. Actually, I started to work with ODK intensively about 12 years ago. As longitudinal monitoring was not supported yet at that time, I had to work with other mobile data collection software for some years. But ODK has always been my favorite tool with regards to building smart forms and the robustness of the software. I can say this after having benchmarked several mobile software 'solutions'. Now that longitudinal monitoring is possible ODK comes into the picture again.
Based in the Netherlands and working on (international) sustainable landuse projects. Longitudinal monitoring is crucial for us as well as the mapping and visualisation of geometries in the ODK app and of course its robustness. All this is crucial for field technicians so they know where the sites are and can rely on the software when they are in the (remote!) field. I hope to see a lot of progress on these features.
My name is Tiago, I live in Brasília, capital of Brazil.
I work in an indigenist organization called Cimi - Indigenist Missionary Council, which supports indigenous peoples and their struggles for rights in our country, especially territorial rights. Additionally, we monitor and report human rights violations against these populations. This work is carried out on a daily basis, but also through an annual report that systematizes violence against indigenous peoples.
One of the main sources of this report are our base teams, distributed across eleven regional sections that cover a large part of our national territory. Last year, we started looking for ways to improve data collection and then we learned about ODK, which was already being used by partner organizations.
We were impressed by the efficiency of ODK and also by this open community. The answers here have already helped me resolve several issues that arose during the construction of our forms! This year, we began implementing the use of ODK across our teams and hope that it will soon become our main data collection tool.
We also intend to contribute to the translation of ODK Central into Portuguese, which is already well advanced.
Hello,

I am looking into customizing ODK collect for even more advanced use cases for many more of my clients
Hi, my is name Bendito Lopes da Costa, I am an ICT assistant from Timor-Leste. I have recently started using ODK Collect to collect some data, it really helpful.
Now I am looking to create automatic sync real time data submission ODK Central to Metabase dashboard or similar dashboard. It will be helpful if somebody can share the experience ODK and Dashboard. Thank you
Hi Everyone
I am located in West Africa and have been involved with ODK for a humanitarian project. Outside of data collection, I enjoy listening to or playing music.
I don't think I've officially introduced myself here, so this is long overdue, but Howdy! I'm Tyler and I work with International Literacy and Development in francophone West Africa with minority language communities. I work mostly in an under-resourced community starting/establishing a scion bank/demonstration farm/nursery of over 100 different unique species of trees and plants in an effort to combat malnutrition by providing farmers increased access to a diversity of high quality plants that can provide local nutrition.
I currently use ODK mostly for tracking plants/trees in the scion bank, although I have plans to use it for linguistic data collection and more wide-scale farmer assessments. I can't remember when I first starting using ODK, but it was probably around 2020. Most of my posts on the forum are with regards to multilingual media as the main form we use on the farm is designed for a small team of users with widely varying levels of literacy/formal education and who are native in 4 different languages.
