I’m brand new to the ODK team. Formerly at medic.org I used enketo-core for rendering forms, and maintained a fork of Collect.
I’m based in Dunedin, New Zealand a small city at the bottom of the world. Outside of coding, I try to spend my time outdoors skiing, cycling, and hiking.
I am Seungmin Lee, an economist in the U.S., mainly using household survey data for my research.
I once used SurveyCTO a long time ago, and now try to use Kobo to design a survey.
Hello, I’m Isaac from Cameroon. I would like to take part in projects where ODK is used, for example in the humanitarian field or other sectors. I’m already using ODK for meter data collection at EDF. Does anyone know of any opportunities or projects looking for technicians who can configure ODK Collect and Central, and train users?

My name is Julie MacDonell, based out of New York, USA. I am working as a backend engineer at Enveritas. Enveritas is a non-profit organization providing sustainability assurance for the coffee industry and dedicated to the mission of getting smallholder farmers out of poverty.
I'm currently exploring how Enveritas can integrate with ODK – we are excited to learn more about the platform and get to know the community!
Hello, my name is John Hogan and I’m located in Florida. I’m evaluating ODK as a platform to facilitate our data collection associated with tower site inspections. We have ~180 locations with over 50 assets per site that need inspected and hope to find out if this platform will work for us.
Hello everyone, I am Charles, a laboratory worker at a hospital in Nigeria. I am a newbie with zero experience in Data and Research. I am open to opportunities that will enable me to gain new skills and increase my capacity. Open to collaboration, networking, and virtual engagements.
my name is Hauwau Al-bashir from Nigeria. I`m currently a data science fellow. I just learn about ODK and it functions. I look forward to learning and contributing to ODK
I am Umar Faruk Ibrahim, a computer science graduate from Nigeria. I am currently a fellow at the Click-on Kaduna Data Science Fellowship Program (DSFP) 5.0. I am looking forward to contributing and learning more on ODK and am also open for collaboration.
My name is Joshua, and I’m currently a fourth-year Quantity Surveying student with a growing passion for data and analytics. I’m also a fellow at the Click-On Kaduna Data Science Fellowship Program 5.0, where I’m currently learning how to apply data-driven approaches to solving real-world problems.
I got introduced to ODK and the ODK community through a facilitator, Mr. Yakub. And I got interested in the ODK community because of it strong focuse on data collection and management, which aligns quite well with my interest in wanting to use data to drive insights, especially in areas like construction, development, and research.
Outside of data collection, I enjoy exploring different technologies, learning about processes optimization, and engaging in meaningful discussions that connect data with impact. And I also love to watch anime, thai-drama, k-drama, j-drama, c-drama, t-drama, and v-drama.
I look forward to learning, sharing, and connecting with everyone here, thank-you.
My name is Umar Ibrahim, and I’m currently a Data Science Fellow with click-on Kaduna data science fellowship prigramme. My work focuses on learning how to improve data quality and decision-making through tools like ODK, especially in health and development programs.
I joined this community to:
Learn more about advanced ODK features, scripting, and survey design
Share field experiences and challenges from our ongoing data collection exercises
Connect with professionals using ODK for large-scale social impact projects
I’m excited to learn from everyone here and contribute where I can.
Thank you for the warm welcome in advance!
Warm regards,
Umar Ibrahim Data Science Fellow – Kaduna State, Nigeria
My name is Gba Peter, I’m from Kaduna State, Nigeria, and I’m a data science fellow at the Click-On Kaduna Data Science Fellowship Programme. I’m on a path to become a machine learning engineer and currently learning how to collect data using ODK with the guidance of Yakub Abdulmalik and Usman Danjuma. I’m hoping to contribute to discussions on the forum and also learn much about ODK here.
My name is Mustapha Musa, I’m based in Kaduna, Nigeria. I have been using ODK as an enumerator with the Kaduna State Bureau of Statistics Back in 2017 I began using ODK as an enumerator with the Kaduna State Bureau of Statistics, collecting data on malaria surveys, agriculture and voter registration. That practical experience actually taught me how effective digital data collection can be and it has guided my career since then.
I am currently a Data Science Fellow at Click-On Kaduna and on the top of that I own two companies, a crop-producing business and a plastic-recycling one. Both are creating noise about ODK since it will enable field data, resource management, and evidence-based decision-making to become a lot easier to our Agri- and eco-projects.
I’m currently learning how to collect data using ODK with the guidance of Yakub Abdulmalik and Usman Danjuma.
Fun fact: bigger frontiers, although nobody is calling it out, are agriculture and recycling. I am up to the task to demonstrate it by constructing a house at all costs- just to have a glimpse of how it became possible.
I’m Fatima Bulai Musa, based in Kaduna, Nigeria.
I got introduced to ODK by Mr Yakub Abdulmalik during the Click on Kaduna Data Science Fellowship. I’m currently exploring how ODK works and look forward to learning more about data collection with it.
My name is Asmau Abdulkarim, and I’m a Data Science Fellow at the Click-On Kaduna Data Science Fellowship Programme. I’m currently exploring ODK (Open Data Kit) as part of my learning journey and I’m really excited about the opportunities it offers for effective data collection and field research.
I was introduced to ODK by Yakub Abdulmalik and Usman Danjuma, and I’m looking forward to learning more from this amazing community sharing ideas, asking questions, and improving my skills as I go.
Happy to be here and excited to learn from you all!
My name is Roqeeb Akanbi from Nigeria, and I am a Data Science Fellow at the Click-On Kaduna Data Science Fellowship Programme. I am currently exploring ODK (Open Data Kit) as part of my learning journey and I’m really excited about the numerous opportunities it offers for flexible, customizable and effective data collection and field research. What amazed me the most is that it shows me the behind-the-scenes work for data collection, and it makes me appreciate quality dataset and also gives me some glimpse of data engineering, architecture and quality assurance.
I was introduced to ODK by Mr Yakub Abdulmalik and Usman Danjuma, andI looking forward to learning more from this amazing community sharing ideas, asking questions, and improving my skills as I go.
Hi I’m Asma’u, I just concluded a 2 weeks challenging session on ODK, I learnt that ODK is an amazing tool for data collection and management. I look forward to learning and contributing to ODK.
