We're kicking off 2025 with a smaller Collect release which ties a few loose ends and adds small improvements.
In particular, we heard from many of you about the zoom level for geo questions on the forum (here, here, and here) and in user research sessions. We are excited that map-based questions now use the last selected zoom level and we hope this saves data collectors time!
Highlights
Geo questions with map now start with the last used zoom level
Entity filter expressions with and/or are now faster
Form summary view re-implemented for improved performance and future improvements. Now launched from a table of contents icon rather than an arrow.
Logging to get more information about crashes. If you get an out of memory crash or see Collect hang, please share your form and information about any attached Entity Lists or CSVs.
Always use the device dark or light mode setting (see discussion about removing the theme setting).
